The Gods of Bal-Sagoth

As I've recently discovered the band Bal-Sagoth, I found out that their name was derived from a novel by Robert E. Howard called "The Gods of Bal-Sagoth". I read up on it a bit and the concept of the short stories in its pages intrigued me. Have any here read this book? If so, what did you think of it?

I haven't but Robert E. Howard is my favorite author so it's probably good. REH is the bomb.

I have definitely heard about it and the name intreges me. The only problem is that I haven't read it yet! I just read a little description of it. So the short stories make up the entire novel? How long is it? Each story?
