Well there year is nearly done, pick them, NOW

mine are

Astriaal- Renascent Misanthropy
Anathema- A Natural Disaster

that is all, they are the winners

I was going to post this thread myself, but the Arch Bogan has beaten me to it.

Hmm.... let's see...

The Black Dahlia Murder - Unhallowed

Dimmu Borgir - Death Cult Armageddon

Black Majesty - Sands of Time

Alchemist - Austral Alien

Astriaal - Renascent Misanthropy

Arch Enemy - Anthems of Rebellion

I know I will be able to think of more if I wasn't currently stuffing my face with food and listening to a bad Don Henley cover.

ooo I forgot about Unhollowed. Thats up there, if only for having the greatest cover song ever.

Amorphis- Far from the Sun

Destroyer 666- Terror Abraxos

Dance of Death is my favorite

I had it cranking form the balcony of my unit down to the pool on the weekend. And everyone was getting into it, Awesome for fun in the sun .

I cant do my list yet, too many albums coming out in Nov/Dec

Dont forget the almighty Bob Catley Spiffo :)

Um... yeah. Bob Catley. Musn't forget him.

Yeah...

The Voice of Rock, Glenn Hughes, released an album this year, so that sort of wins by default. It helps that it's pretty good.

Children of Bodom's Hatecrew Dethtoll

Edguy's Burning Down The Opera was fairly good

Kamelot's Epica

Stratovarius' Elements Part II

and of course Anthrax - W're Come For You All.

OK, here's a sort of list:

Anthrax - "We've Come For You All"
Glenn Hughes - "Songs in the Key of Rock"
Dwight Yoakam - "Population: Me"
David Bowie - "Reality"
Bon Jovi - "This Left Feels Right"

Just kidding about that last one. :)

Yeah I can't really choose at the moment either, as I haven't heard half of the albums I was eagerly awaiting this year. Dance Of Death is great, but I think it might be topped by the new Dream Theater, and I am also yet to hear the new ones from Arch Enemy, LORD, Anathema and Children Of Bodom. I am also interested in Dimmu's DCA, but I don't think it is really a threat for a top position.
Also, if The Glorious Burden had come out on time that would have had a chance at a high spot too.
