The Greatful Dead are without a doubt one of the most influential bands of all time, and their music spans many generations. Who here likes them and/or respects them? Thoughts?

I have heard some songs.
They suck IMO.

They're okay but I don't go crazy to hear them. I like their latter material more than the early stuff. One of my favorite songs by them is "Me And My Uncle".

I was never overly into them, but yeah I do have an appreciation and sincere respect for them. I think it's highly admirable for them to be the first band to designate special seating for their fans wanting to make bootlegs.
