The Green Evening Requiem pre-winter newsletter:

Hello! We have been out of touch with everyone for quite some time,
but we've been very busy working on new music, and have exciting news
to share. We apologize for the total lack of updates to our website.
greenevening.com is undergoing serious administrative overhaul.

-As some of you know, Joe Dougherty has left The Green Evening
Requiem. Joe is a very good friend of ours, but his creative
aspirations are no longer compatible with our own. We have parted
ways on the best of terms, and we will miss Joe's passion and severity
of live performance. You can listen to his work on our recordings of
If Ever So, Face the Insurmountable, and the live version of The
Shadow Rift. The Green Evening Requiem will continue on as a four
piece. The number of Joes is now equal to the number of Maddens.

-The Green Evening Requiem will be performing at this year's Black
X-Mass in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday December 23rd. We are honored
to be a part of this festival, and will share the stage with Empyrean
Plague, Death March, Rigorous Obliteration, and Wolven Ancestry in
support of our good friends and headliner Woods of Ypres!

-For our local friends, we return to The Red Stallion on Friday,
December 8th in support of Aperion. The show will be Aperions first
since reforming, and we intend to make it one to remember.

-The first ever Green Evening t-shirts will be available by the holidays.

-We begin recording our debut album this January.
