So your out on a date or with friends and you Drink a couple cocktails or some wine and your waiting for your food to come. Finally it's here.
Damn your hungry! You start eating.
Then what happens?
Server comes over with an obnoxious oversized pepper shaker and asks if yiu want pepper? You have to stop eating,sit back, and watch this jerkoff grind pepper over your food like your an invalid. Oh and by the way, WHO THE HELL DOESNT WANT PEPPER? don't even ask!
So now you have to have what I consider be of lifes most awkward moments while the server does his or her rounds while conversation and eating comes to a halt.
Now if your eating Italian, the problem is compounded while you have to wait for Round 2 which involves being asked if you want Parmesean and waiting for cheese to be sprinkled over your pasta that's getting cold.
This whole experience I find completely insane!
LEAVE THE DAMN PEPPER AMD PARMASEAN GRINDER ON THE TABLE ASSHOLES!
This all became very clear today when I ate lunch in Koo Koo Roo in Santa Monica today. At the table, they have a small pepper shaker size pepper grinders at the tables, each table, everyday, all the time!
Someone finally got it right!
