The Strokes, The Hives, The Vines, Jet, whatever... they all fucking suck. New music should be fresh and original, not a complete rip-off of a whole decades music.

I rarely agree with Luminous but when it comes to this lame ass garage revival bullshit... I agree. They came up with this trend just by ripping off what was done in the past but they still act like artists. My ass.

I believe what Luminous said about these bands is true. All of them are just blatantly xeroxing a sound that is decades old, and they aren't even being coy about it. They are adding nothing new to that 70's garage rock sound, just regurgitating it and of course the idiot masses lap it up like it's the next biggest innovation in music. Many of them may be from Sweden, but that doesn't mean they don't suck.
