My latest musical endeavor:

This was a collaboration between me and two awesome guitarists from the depths of youtube who go by the screen names Erithlon (Matthijs van den Hoven from the Netherlands) and Luxpalloris (Luka Žnideršič from Slovenia). they put together all the instrumental parts and asked me to add some vocals for them. Here's the original version without vocals, so you can behold the glorious facemelting solo skillz.

it's very Nevermore-ish, and I think it turned out really well, so i think you folks will enjoy this. let me know what you think!

EDIT: whoops. first link fixed.

Fucking a. Music, to me, was fantastic. Vocals were pretty goddamn good and I laughed quite a bit through out the first video. Very enthusiastic thumbs up. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Whoa, what I just witnessed was pure awesomeness! :D
Bad ass guitarists (I like them both, but the solo at 2.25 was sweet) and you're vocals are really REALLY good. you make an entertaining frontman:)
So uhh the next logical question would be.. when are you guys going to open for Nevermore? ;)

thanks for the kind words, everyone!

and as for when we'll be opening for Nevermore, the fact that we all live in different countries (and I live on a different continent than the other two members) might impede our ability to actually play a show :p

I really hate the stupid faces you make. In the future please just record your vocals and be done with it.

nah. it's not enough fun if i can't jump around and act like an idiot and make obnoxious "grim" faces. i don't have it in me to stare at a camera for four minutes singing about death and destruction with a serious expression...some people can, but I'm not one of them, and I doubt I ever will be.

It makes it very difficult to take you and your singing seriously, and by association, the music you are "performing" suffers.

Thanks again everyone!

And to whitebeastofwotan, I'm sorry if I came off like I was dismissing what you had to say. I totally understand where you're coming from, and I realize my "performance style" could be pretty off-putting to some people. It's just the way I am, though.
