The Invention

Ecstatic Youth

...playing with fire
What do you guys(and girls) think of that new scooter invention that is all over the news. Will it really be as revolutionary as advertised? It sure as hell looks amazing. Anyone know how it works? It is very cool to see it move and stuff because it looks like it is breaking some laws of physics with that whole not tipping over thing.

Your thoughts, please.

dude i just read about it...seems interesting, but i don't know about revolutionary...would come in handy in big cities for sure

LOL! If he ever tried to apply it to a car or larger vehicle frame, the oil companies would purchase the concept and throw it away...just as it does with all other energy saving inventions/patents. Talk about an oligopoly.

Anyway, Southpark's episode last week totally hit on this as well. People look like total shmucks on these things. It is like a glorified Razor skooter. The physics behind the machine is mind boggling though, I must admit.

Its not supposed to "catch on" as you are saying.
its not like a fad or anything like that

its supposed progress technology further and and to new heights and what not.

sure it'll be used by people in general, but it's not even available to people yet, so the price should go down

As would people who walk to work.
But that's why they invented jackets, I think. :)
The problem with areas that have snow is "How do you get chains on this damned thing?"

Yep, your right on the jacet. But what i ment was, if this thing goes faster than a person walks, then it would be pretty damn cold. That winter wind in your face.
