The kinks

Does anyone else feel that the kinks music is the most timeless of all rock bands bar the beatles?

nearly 40 years on and i can still hear at least 4 different kinks songs in e week just on tv or in a pub.

I absolutely love The Kinks. All of their stuff in the 60s is excellent. The three album stretch of Face to Face, Something Else, and Village Green Preservation Society are fucking brilliant.

Personally, I prefer them to the Beatles any day.

i had the best of a while ago but i sold it

their ok i suppose but compared to the beatles bowie or the velvet underground their not that good
