The Lady of the cover of TDWOT

Angel maybe, I see a angel wing. Though doesn't look attached to her.

Character in candlelight maybe

"lonely roses slowly wither and die" she's holding a rose...

Duh, it's the Lady of the Snow. She wasnt' happy just having a song about her, she wanted cover space. Damned women..;)

The Yngster said:
People keep asking me why I'm wearing a Cher shirt :(

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm sure people would ask me the same thing if I had that shirt. I love when people tell me my Sabbat shirt has a typo on it and proceed to go on about how much they love Ozzy. People can be really dumb.

Considering I still think that DWoT has an attachment to V, my only thought is that the lady is Ma'at. The only problem with that, is that Ma'at is a child, not a grown up lady.

Since V came after DWOT it woould be the other way around, V had an attachment to DWOT... Good ideas though, my only possible thoughs is the song DWOT is based on that character... But I strongly believe its Medusa, this being why her eyes are closed. She be wearing that head piece thing to hide the snakey like hair lol! so IMO Id have to go with Eyes of Medusa, its the only female character discussed in the entire Album other than the guys other in 'Out of The Ashes' perhaps Candlelight or DWOT are indirectly related but meh

But as far as i know in Greek Mythology, Medusa is a damned character, and therefore has an ugly, horrible face (becomes ugly, scary after she is cursed by Athena). Her snakey hair is also as a result of her damnation. Yet, once she was a beautiful maiden.

Yeh but I also though she has her 'lady of the snow' atrributes, where she sways guys with her good looks and tricks them, than opens up her eyes and BAM... Stoney man Stoney uglyness (At least this is what Iw as led to believe as a child, I never read into more than that! From my understanding she disguised her self to trick people..)

It's not Medusa. If it was, everyone who looked at the cover would have turned to stone. :p

I think she's an angel, as implied by the church-like theme of the cover (with the stained glass and all). It would make sense, as the title track is based on Paradise Lost.

I so need to read that book.......
Nobody would turn to stone, on account of the fact that the lady's eyes are closed.

And yeh no one would be turned to stone her eyes are shut :P The Paradise Lost theme is alway being talked about! ITs possible, but the Church and angel thing seems all to happy to be paradise lost...

Than we get into the Candlelight Fantasia lyrics...Anyone notice the angel/medusa/lady/Romeo in the mornin is holding a rose "Lonely Roses Slowly Wither and Die" MAn O Man I love that song
