How is that? Valfunde got removed from Metal-Archives. So I am interested in how it will sound. Plus this is, from what Neige has stated, the first real Amesoeurs material.

Well, taking into account the fact that I play no instruments and to be honest generally have no idea whatsoever as to what's going on in that area, it really just sounds like Peste Noire material to me, with the majority of the metal elements. It could easily have come out of the Lorraine Rehearsal sessions.

As for the Amesoeurs, I can't remember what the first release sounds like offhand (I haven't listened to it in quite a while), but I thought that this song was quite good.

That split is similar music wise to the last track on the Amesoeurs MCD. The Valfunde track is much better because of it's progression and fucked up vocals, though it does use the same bass lines as Faiblesse Des Sens. It appears from that Amesoeurs track they will continue on way of the clean female vocals and rock/post-rock way.

Asorted trance/Beatles/Beach boys songs and now Colony by In Flames. Think I'll follow this up with some Enslaved/Direwolf/Ne Obliviscaris.

My Dying Bride - The Angel And The Dark River
My Dying Bride - Songs of Darkness, Words of Light
The Acacia Strain - The Dead Walk

Ahab - The Call Of The Wretched Sea
PsyOpus - Ideas Of Reference

 Last two contrast each other so much,

Ahab is very slow and heavy while PsyOpus is a mindfuck.

Harsh noise/noise in general is not that interesting.

Emil Beaulieau on the other hand is a VERY interesting character, but nothing more.
