Okay, since when does listening to one kvlt album make you metal? For all you know he's the biggest Britney Spears fan in the entire world.

Since forever dude! No one has heard JUST Beherit and disliked or not even tried other metal. Beherit is one of THOSE bands. Just TOO underground to be liked by Britney Spears fans.

Also Greg, Squash Bowels rules.

I didn't like Love Songs. The best SB albums are TMR...TMS and No Mercy, definitely. The first is more goregrind with even some "pornogrind" influences. No Mercy is borderline grind/goregrind.

Katatonia ~ last fair deal gone down.
Acid Bath ~ when the kite string pops.
Alice In Chains ~ facelift.
Necrophobic ~ the nocturnal silence.
Amorphis ~ the karelian isthmus.

Yet they were doing their thing since the start of the whole black metal second wave.

Except "their thing" was hugely influenced by Blasphemy, Von, etc. Especially before DDtM.

Edit: maybe I missunderstood your post there though, sorry. :p

It's fucking r0xxing and gets better with repeated listens. My only real criticisms is that the lead playing is under-utilized and some of the songs end a bit underwhelmingly. I suspect that the next album will be even better. From what I understand the band wants to attempt to put together a touring line-up...don't know what that means for you though since I don't suspect that they would play overseas much.
