I have only listened to The Headless Ritual once, but I enjoyed it. It's shorter,compact, and more direct than Macabre Enternal and was more enjoyable. I prefere the way it sounds also. If you want something musically and production wise old school style check it out. It's not by any means Mental Funeral part 2 and Autopsy is still pushing their sound further and have some ideas. I did not like Macabre Eternal as much as The Tomb Within EP and found the album lengthy. So for me The Headless Ritual is better. As of right now the reviews are pretty average for some reason.
