The new Zelda game is amazing but unfortunately nothing really fresh in the series.
It does stand on par with Ocarina of Time (quickly followed by The Mask of Majora which was challenging as all Hell to get everything done and found).
Still have to the new one but have the urge to go and get the two Gameboy AColour games -Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Time. As well as the Minish Cap for the Gameboy Advance.
As for the Wii: it's a really great system if you are just after out and out game playing.
Especially with Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Resident Evil 4, Super Smash Brothers Brawl (out next year) and all the old console games that you can purchase (and run better then you can on an emulator, which is the appeal of buying them).
And now you have all the Neo Geo games being released on the virtual console, you can really live up old school gaming.
But, if you want a good game challenge and an interesting story with some really well rendered characters and scenarios, then you really do have to play The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess.
