The Maidens Are Not Alone...

I've just been informed that The Iron Maidens are not the only female tribute to Iron Maiden. Over in Italy, there is another female tribute called Diamond Beast. I wonder if the Maidens will cross paths with these girls when they tour Europe later this year.

You are right Jenna.I just discovered them, and yes they are from France.They are called Women In Iron Form.They are only a 4 piece with the bassist taking on vocals-not digging the format, but the band sounds okay I suppose. http://www.myspace.com/womeninironform

That's the one. They're much better than Diamond Beast but I've always felt that it's not a tribute band unless you're staying true to format of the original band. If not, then it's just a cover band.

And playing Maiden on bass with a pick - no, no and NO!
