Enditol, did you notice that most of sounds now are more sensitive to velocity change than in the original DFHS?

If I do some stupid math here....

Toontrack states "300,000 sound files of raw, single hit drum recordings" and I counted to 121 different drums/cymbals/hihats.

300 000 divided in 121 equals 2479,3388429752066115702479338843

An close to 2500 sound files in average for every piece of the kits. I'm sure that the hihats have more than the kicks, but in average. Divided in the number of channels (26, if the stereo channels are separate) = 95,35918626827717736808645899555 different hits per drum/cym/hh. ;)

Woah, fucking awesome. I haven't gotten near these results out of TMF. What kick are you using? And what effects do you have on it?

Ahhh mate.. Completely got this the wrong way. lol. Metal foundry sounds really good!

Did you tweak the settings inside the S2 only or did something outside? I kind of have not too bad results using Terror Tory preset, but it is not glued as yours. And what did you use on a master bus? thanks.

Yeah I tweaked them outside, some additional levels, compression, EQ and reverb. Just some quick n crappy faux mastering on the bus, EQ, SSL comp, Vintage Warmer and Ozone.

hi Jocke!
I don't understand what you said about 26 stereo channels, what do you mean with that?

thank you!

I dig it.. I'm honestly curious to hear this WITHOUT my samples so I can hear what the Metal Foundry kick and snare are sounding like.. I just picked up Superior 2, its fun to use along with SSD, both good tools. Nice guitars too!
