I wonder if there's a correlation between the development of depictions of the succubus from demonic beast to attractive female and openness about sexuality and promiscuity increasing in society.

This thread got me all nostalgic. When I was a kid in Sweden, we'd sign up to this monthly magazine called "Facts about Monsters" where they'd send you these collectible flyer-style sheets about various creatures and legends. Just went on a manhunt to find some of these.

Welp, after digging a bunch of Swedish forums for those pics, I just found the English versions in way higher quality (d'oh!)
