It says Garm played on it, but the booklet has no details.

Anyone know what instrument Garm played on what track?

Garm will be present on 'Black For Death, An Icelandic Odyssey Part II', the follow up to the new Solefald album. both releases are in fact one double-album and the 2nd part will come out about february/march next year.

So he wasn't involved in the first disc at all? Why not? Will he also sing on part two or just play instruments? What instruments by the way?

Garm is singing on "Black For Death" which will be released in Spring 2006. He is playing the role of Loki.
