The Nomad and Thin Line Between And Hate

I'm always up for Maiden playing songs they haven't. Unfortunately, Steve just doesn't care for variety. He pretty much prefers to play the same setlist for every gig on the tour. I think it's because it's easier for the band to keep things tight.

I wish the band would do what Metallica and several other bands do, and mix it up city to city. Frankly, if I was a pro musician, I'd be bored playing the setlist over and over.

But, then again, if a predictable setlist means no special gigs where Pass the Jam and More Tea Vicar are played, I'm happy with that. Those are the only Maiden songs I can't stand.

Been saying that for years, so I was one of the few that wasn't pissed they played the whole new album this time around. I would still like to hear The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner & Still Life just once live.

Metallica mixed it up night to night..seen them two nights in a row a couple times and the encore songs changed every night. Don't know why more bands don't do this. :erk:

I totally agree. I've seen Metallica 9 times and never once seen the same setlist twice. I really wish Maiden would do that too, it would be less boring for the band as well.

I think Still Life was played on a few gigs, The Loneliness of the Longdistance Runner only once. That sucks, since The Loneliness... is one of my favourite songs.
