I'm trying to put together ATTWAD off of downloaded mp3s off of soulseek (I broke my original... I own the rights to the album)... anyways, I need help setting up the transition between Alsavtr-the oath and Ye Entracemperium... anyone know of a way to shave off a second or so (without losing quality), so that they meld perfectly... or of somehow just getting it to 'fit', because there's this really abrupt break (really ruins it). Thanks

thats gone way over paddy love to help but:erk: :erk:

that gap is inherant in the mp3 format so a sound editor won't really help you. you need either a gapless player like foobar2000 or a gapless plugin for winamp or whatever you use

OK little update... there is now no gap between Alsavtr and Ye Entracemperium on Windows Media Player.... but when I burn the songs to a CD there is... how do I fix this??

i have no idea, any decent cd burning program will have the option to select DAO/TAO somewhere

also there might be a seperate pre-gap setting where you have to change it manually from 2 seconds to 0 but generally selecting DAO mode is enough
