The Ocean to support Devin Townsend on US tour

He tweeted about this earlier, they're on the official poster now.

Bummed about this, other venues were promoting Anathema as the support slot. :(

Darn it, it ruins the joke if I have to explain it...or maybe the fact that I have to explain it means the joke wasn't funny in the first place. You know, The Ocean made those videos showing the ups and downs of their last US tour (which I believe you posted here), and I was suggesting that they should be viewed as a cautionary tale by this other band coming over from Germany to open for Devin Townsend. Oh wait, they're the SAME BAND? LOLOLOLOLOL!

It's funny because they were actually rumored to be doing the Dillinger tour in November and that got canceled in spite of The Ocean having US visas and flights paid for already so they put out a statement asking if anyone with an opportunity can reach out to salvage the money they lost. Now, I doubt DT or his management read that and felt charitable, The Ocean has a capable booking agent here, but it's still funny that this band has so many touring problems...
