theres no need to compare WS and ATYB to NSV and BMF their 2 totally diff categories

but yes my fav death metal vocalist is lord worm
disalvo is still good but he doesn't come close to lord worm and he wil tell that himself seeing he idolises lord worm

Yes, no one can duplicate Lord Worms power and intensity. They shouldnt have even attempted Open Face Surgery on None so Live. Desalvo was boring and repetetive. An average as hell Death metal vocalist who brought nothing to the band. ATYB wasnt deep or complex by any means, it was simply a failed attempt to take the band in a newer and more technical direction, and about 90% I know agreed that it sucked. Disalvo was shit, he had no power, and I hope Lord Worm dosent sing any of his songs because none of them are noteworthy. NSV and BMF were not typical brutal death albums, they were powerfull, skull crushing and mind fucking albums, that still maintained elements of groove and melody. Just because a band decides to emphasize its technical prowess more does not make it better music. In conclusion: Lord Work>Every other Death Metal Vocalist. Thats right, I said it.

congratulations, I have managed to completely disagree with just about everything you say in that paragraph. except:"Just because a band decides to emphasize its technical prowess more does not make it better music.", which i would agree on completely.... but in Cryptopsy's case, it does make better music because albums like ATYB are pushing the boudaries of DM while, YES, their first 2 were conventional tech-brutal-death. And DiSalvo, an average-as-hell DM vocalist? what are you on? that award goes to vocalists like Decapitated's vocalist, etc. Find me one DM vocalist that sounds like DiSalvo, or show me how he is an "average DM vocalist".

and just for the hell of it my favorite vocalist is Peter Tagtgren

...btw sonata arctica is better then cryptopsy...but that doesnt mean that cryptopsy is bad...it just means that there are superior bands
