it's like..well, i think that the english/french pronounce put the accent on the e and "stretches" the word, here instead it's more like the accent is on the o.. and the e is not pronounced in the english way..

Yes, that would be the right pronounce, but here in italy the e is like the "a" in english "man", but more close...i don't know an english word to make the right example now
