the only thing that matters is bass

just recorded a atmospheric piece of music which consists only bass. please tell me what you think of the mix. and maybe some of you can give me advices how i can improve it

its nice, a bit TOO atmospheric, not enough movement. hows it recorded?

i recorded 5 different basslines and mixed them together.
1 was the harmonics
another one is the "rhythm" bass, with a lot of bass frequencies
the other 2 are for the atmosphere, here i cut the frequencies under 200 Hz
and the last one is the solo

i know, it's a bit monotone, but i wanted to write something that helps you to slow down and chill out

I think the harmonic line is too powerful, it should be soft and here it is almost agressive I think.

Also, there is too much noise, certainly added 5 times because of your 5 tracks. You should get rid of it on all tracks cause it kills the depth of the mix. With no noise it could be very pleasant.

okay, i cut away this sizzeling noise as good as possible, and changed a few things on the mix
it sounds much clearer now and even better i think

would be great if you guys could comment it again
