The Spektrum was formed near October 2005, by a group of friends, with metal influences. The initial members were Ricardo, as vocalist, David, guitarrist, Emanuel, bass, Febra, Guitar, and Luciano, in drums.
Later, January of 2006, Samuel entered as keyboarder, in May 2006, the band decides to move to a different style, more melodic and heavy sound. Samuel moved into drums, Luciano left the band, and Febra starts playing both Guitar and Keys.
The band started working on new stuff, and At the end of July, 2006, the band decides to go into studio to record the first demo cd, intituled Marching Through the Darkness.
In summer 2007 the band decides to record theyr first (upcoming) album, Daemonicus Awakening, recorded and produced by Dikk (Witchbreed), and assisted by Ares (ex-MoonSpell, Witchbreed), and its currently being mastered by Waldemar Sorychta (Tiamat, Samael, Lacuna Coil, MoonSpell, etc etc)
The Album is expected to October/November.
The band, (The Spektrum), is looking for shows in Germany between 26December and January 9.
