the sword

Sword is not bad at all, I'm not a really a big fan but there are way more deserving bands to bash. I like a couple tracks

I think the only more deserving band of the bashing is Wolfmother... Which has already been covered in this thread.

FULL CIRCLE!

I'm so sick of them playing 21+ shows. They play here all the time and I've only seen them twice!

I hate that, too. Overkill did that for the past two tours near here(they probably always did that).

Thankfully I'll be able to get in this time when they come around.

That's really more of a venue issue than one of age. Metal shows are always in shitty, cramped, run down clubs. I want to be able to sit at a table with friends and watch the show in comfort. If other people want to form a pit up at the front, fine by me.
BB King's here has some booths.

When they play BB King's here I'm pretty positive it's all ages.

BB King's = best NYC venue.

I dig the few tracks I have heard of theirs.
I don't understand the whole, "Let's hate them because hipsters like them...." There are plenty of underground bands who get lots of praise who are just as generic or unoriginal.

And by these people, you mean John? Right.

I certainly hope not, considering my taste in music is more diverse than 90% of the people here. Most of you only listen to metal and rock.

The Sword have two or three songs I can stand, but that doesn't mean I can't hate them.
