The Westboro Baptist Church doesn't represent any Baptists I have ever encountered, yet I have seen that used as an argument against religion.

Since we are talking a handful of people in this thread, who I am convinced are just plain fucking morons. It's essentially the same thing in my eyes.

The issue is that [some] religious people, no matter what they believe are total hypocrites and selfish for that matter. For example: If you're Christian, you believe God created everything. If God is good and God created everything, including medicine, or the ability to make medication and medication helps people, medicine is good. No where in the bible does it say don't get blood transfusions or don't seek medical help. Bunch of idiots...
