Just kidding. But this thread poses an important question: bathyspheres or submersibles?

I'm inclined to say submersibles, even though the aesthetic design of the bathysphere is generally more appealing, the submersible could withstand the slowly clenching fist of a gorgon whereas the riveted bathysphere could not.
