An alternative solution for the drum (if they want a 80s sound) is to use the alesis samples...80s bands sound so fake, expecially the snare.
The solo in my opinion is too much in your face.

Pretty cool, Dave! Must be the upload or some shit, but the vox is just "blown speaker" sounding. It has the chimey sound on this upload. Did you put anything in front of the amps (808) or is that XXX (gain on 3) alone? Nice work, man!

just the peavey on 3 and the sovtek wide open, both through my jcm800 v30 cab

SOLO is way too hot but the guitarist is a narcissist for reasons unknown to me.
Vox are sm7 through a tube mixer from the 50's, pretty distorted.
also, and this goes without saying, myspace coding is horrible
