They have international metal!!!

A didgeridoo in D? Can you even tune one of those? Eh, not my job to learn how to play it, I'll make one of the morons (guitarists) do that.

I always thought that metal was strictly an American music form, but I recently heard there are some metal bands in Europe, too! And some of them even sing in languages other than English!

When did this trend start and how are the Europeans reacting to this extreme form of American culture invading their airwaves?

:guh: :err: :D :tickled: :headbang:

I accepted that American culture form pretty well.
Great thread!

All The Pimp has to say is:
FUCKING AMERICANS! THERE IS A WORLD OUTSIDE OF FUCKING AMERICA YOU KNOW?!
Sorry to all the Americans on this board but that sort of thing really pisses a person off after a couple of decades of hearing it!
And I's know Americans know that there is a world outside of their own country (and the American continiant) but almost all your standard views on foreign countries are wrong. Like, when ever the Simpsons leave the USA in their show, everything is reduced to the most basic sterotypes (must I's remind ya'll 'bout the Bart Vs. Australia episode from a few years back?) and anything ya'll do know 'bout my country ya'll seen on Steve Bloody Irwin's show or watched on Crocodile Dundee 1,2 and *shudder* 3 !
And metal came from England with bands like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Moody Blues (especially after Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds album) and many other great bands of the 60s and 70s.
Australia has in fact given birth to some of the world's best metal bands and, although ya'll might have never heard of them in the US, they have made a strong mark in Europe (with the likes of Destroyer 666, Vanishing Point & Armoured Angel).
And there tons of metal bands all over Europe as well!
Oh, Lord yes, xfer! There is.
Europe is the biggest producer and buyer of metal in the entire world. In fact, there are probably more metal bands in Germany (both big and small) than there is in America right now.
Again, apologies for The Pimp being so pissed off but I's just felt an erruption of long pent up anger and found my's victims here. There was no real target for my's rage, just the ignorance that America seems to breed and that bands like Nevermore try to eleminate through their music (e.g: Tiananmen Man of PoE).
Peace
The Pimp Neonblack

PS.
Dakk, I's want to hears this metal song with a didge in it!
Cheers

AUSTRALIA!! YEAH! ALARUM!! SO GOOD!

No offence taken, from me anyway.

But dude, your feeding the guy here. This is what he wanted. He wnated us all to go off, and flame. He knows what he's doing. As EY said above there, look at his post counts. He is experienced in metal, and he knows he is full of it.

thanks.
(this is zillionth time that I had thanks today, am I insane?..... ) thanks anyway. LOL you look older in that pic, if this is not your older brother....

you look exactly like an old rocker we have here in Zgb, with the same hairdo, I only guess you have dark eyes.
your guess is right, that is, for now, in ten years you'll change the perspective.

Well, that picture was taken a year and a half ago during the summer hahaha... I was 17 and a half at the time. Since I don't have any digital cameras or scanners available, I can only use that pic. My hair is longer now, yep. As far as changing my perspective ten years from now, I don't know about that. I mean look at ledmag, he looks older than he is but he doesn't seem to mind at all hahaha... Anyways, plastic surgery is always an option.

yeah, you're right. and I was 17 11 years ago. :ill: And I'm forced to change perspective, although I don't like it, well, WTF, life is nice little package wrapped up in the shiny paper. when you open it, after admiring the colours and the shine, you find crap inside. LOL
leaving, stay cool, Cross The Styx... ;)
and ledmag..
and Nevermorian who doesn't want to write anything in public. :D

Hair's already going grey here! And, I'm only 29!!! Oh well...

as for xfer's post, it seems sarcasm has been lost on some people... I know it's not a widely practiced form of communication, especially not on the internet, but it should be. :) [/sarcasm]

Nevermore...
