things i learned and/or realized about myself today at newbury comics

1. i really am the product of the media hype machine. i saw the bright eyes albums for sale and bought them based solely because i thought the guy sounded interesting in the articles i saw in the metro and the globe last week and based on all the talk people have been doing about him.

2. i really will buy anything if it has iron maiden on it. case in point: i had some extra money this week(hence the newbury comics trip) and i bought a somewhere in time bobble-head doll to decorate my desk at home.

i like them too! from what i've heard. i'm only through one of the albums completely so far. i'm about halfway into the "electronica" one.

i still haven't listened to digital ash yet, but greg! if you can, try to find the album lifted, or the story is in the soil keep your ear to the ground. best bright eyes imo.
