Things That I LEARN

About two years ago, I spotted the car of a pizza delivering service I had used several times in the past, parked in a somewhat shady neighbourhood. I was standing outside a pub, talking with some friends when I see the backdoor of the car opening. And out comes the pizza deliverer and a filthy, filthy looking prostitute.

I had to wait TWO weeks before I could stomach ordering from them again... :(

Hipgnosis is the company who designed many classic album covers in the 70s…For instance, they used the exterior of the Battersea power station for the cover of Pink Floyd's Animals…

But they ALSO used the INTERIOR for the very homoerotic cover of UFO's Lights Out

I go past that power station every day on the train. Some guy is demolishing the chimneys now :(

you should shoot it every day and get the progressive effect
or are you going too fast? (considering the state of english trains I'd say you'd get a good dozen snaps in)

was looking on your site last week actually, some very nice work

Court Allows Church's Hallucinogenic Tea

By GINA HOLLAND, Associated Press Writer 2 hours, 29 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court ruled unanimously Tuesday that a small congregation in New Mexico may use hallucinogenic tea as part of a four-hour ritual intended to connect with God.

Justices, in their first religious freedom decision under Chief Justice John Roberts, moved decisively to keep the government out of a church's religious practice. Federal drug agents should have been barred from confiscating the hoasca tea of the Brazil-based church, Roberts wrote in the decision.

The tea, which contains an illegal drug known as DMT, is considered sacred to members of O Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal, which has a blend of Christian beliefs and South American traditions. Members believe they can understand God only by drinking the tea, which is consumed twice a month at four-hour ceremonies.

Good. I was wondering when they were gonna rule on that.

I was planning on taking my camera in to uni someday, actually, then posting the pictures here, because my journey in goes through some really beautiful, and some really fucking ugly places. The only problems taking pictures of the power station would be the state of the train windows ;) That said the demolition has been put on hold as there was a petition to stop it, so I have a few more months to do it, and I do go past there on foot occasionally.

Thanks for your kind words on my site, glad you liked it. I can email you high res versions if there are any you particularly like of which you would like a proper copy.
