Think i need a drum mixing masterclass :( WILLING TO SPEND EUROSSS

Seriously man this stuff takes time. There is so much information out there. Just start experimenting with things you read, random ideas that pop in your head etc. It is useful to get ideas from people but if you're in need of a lot of help the only thing that will get you there are some basic pointers and spending some time using them so you understand them. Once you understand them you will know more specifically what it is that is lacking or what it is you are wanting to achieve. From there you can be more methodical and deliberate about your actions which will make all the difference.

yes i know this was mainly a joke haha.....but any of the big dogs want to hit me up that would be more than appreciated

Will do it for free because there is no golden rule.

1. Dont overdo it with eq´s and stuff
2. Check in mono to balance the kick and snare and use a multimeter to check balance
3. use heavy compression
4. OH and ambience will give you the sound, the close mics dont sound that exciting
5. only use samples that compliment well with the real drums and the production
6. Dont cut to much lowend on the stereo OH (400hz lowcut) and ambience tracks (250hz lowcut)

if you have a great sounding room you wont need reverb at all

What exactly do you need help with? I've done one-on-one lessons over Skype before. You can think of it as sort of interactive follow through to the techniques described in the drum mixing guide
