Thirteenth Day
Thirteenth Day 2005 is the newest metal festival to hit the UK. The inaugural event will take place on Sunday July 24th 2005 at Birmingham Academy. The event will bring some of the best known acts in the world of metal together for one day of pure power.
Headlining the day will be Finnish band Sonata Arctica. Having recently been nominated for a Finnish Grammy in the best hardrock/metal album category they are the perfect choice for headlining. Sonata have only ever played the UK once before at Bloodstock 2004, but we've bought them back after massive demand from their UK fan base.
Along with Sonata Arctica will be Norther and a mix of metal bands from Europe and the UK. The complete line-up can be seen here.
