I have zero beef with epiphones. Infact I'd say I think they're damn good guitars for the price.
In my old band, our guitarist had a cheapass epiphone that he caned up with a failed guitar spin attempt and the headstock came off. Really, really nasty break. Glued it back on and it survived for another year and a bit with a couple more nasty drops.

So he started using real amps to record IF covers? All the old ones were recorded with Line 6 toneport and Gearbox (even thought he had good gear at the time)
