but i had been feeling nostalgic lately and my dear sweet husband got me an old nitendo system with three games: super mario of course, tetris, and God bless him, skate or die. wasted hours blaming that one...anyhoo, of course we are having a problem with it big surprise but i love skate or die and that's the game i wanna play the most. other than opening it up, which stew already has done, any suggestions on how to make it work?

i know its stupid, but indulge an old woman.

My friend downloaded Skate or Die and Burger Time onto my computer and I fucking love it :) Old games are so great. I used to have the original Sega and there was a game called BomberRaid that I fucking played like everyday. They should bring the old games back.

One of my buddies' got his xbox rigged up by his computer guy from work. He can put any game from any system, new or old (as long as its been formatted for xbox) onto his xbox hard drive. He's having a hell of a lot of fun with that right now, putting games from the early days of sega and nintendo on there.

Hmmmmmm....... so he got a mod-chip for that?
I have a boot up disc for my Dreamcast so I can play ANY Nintendo or Super Nintendo game that I burn on a CD-R.

Whats silly is I took my son back to best buy yesterday to exchange NASCAR 2003 because he got 2 copies, so he picks out Spiro because its for the same $ amount, then I reminded him that I would pay the difference if wanted to spend like $10-$15 more for a game. So he finds Wolverines revenge and I said its up to you; pick between Sprio, Wolverine, whatever. He stays with Spiro. We get home and he goes I should have took Wolverine. :Spin: I told him I'd go back this week.

You're a cool dad. When I got my Atari for Christmas, I was stuck with the games my parents got me. It would have taken a year and a half to get a game on my allowance. Then when I got a Super NES, I was stuck with Mario and Duck Hunt. And my gun didn't work. :bah:

From what I've read, I believe Spyro is actually a lot better than Wolverine's Revenge...

I have this thing for Rampage... probably my fav arcade game ever.
You should get Midway Arcade Treasures. It has the arcade version of Rampage, Smash TV, Super Sprint, Joust I and II, Defender I and II, RoadBlaster, Root Beer Tapper, and a crapload more! And it's only $20!

I bought Max Payne 2 with a Christmas gift card at Best Buy and I'm pissed. It only took 10-12 hours of playing to finish the game. The actual playing itself was fun, I just expected it to go on longer. It seemed like me and a buddy played Max Payne I for a real long time before we finally passed it. Shoulda got Rainbow Six, dammit.

My Best Buy gift card was used up on LOTR: TTT expanded version, and Armored Saint.

I got NHL 2004 and March Madness 2004 for the Xbox. As for older games, I always liked Dig Dug. I would spend most of computer class in high school playing that when the teacher wasn't looking. Fortunately, the computer I usually sat at was positioned so that when she was at her desk or lecturing, she couldn't see what I was doing.
