this mix is genuinly making me want to strike a bitch!

My first thoughts are that cymbals sound thin and the space around them is odd (disconnected?). Also, right about the half way point, the center guitar (I think that's what it is) is too quiet and what I can hear of it sounds out of tune. I like the guitar tone, the kick, and what I can hear of the bass (listening on cans because it's early here).

whole mix seems a bit thin, add a little more low end to the master or up the bass a tad and it will sound great

Through my ATH-T22's: Mix is a bit cloudy, though these headphones seem to have a bit of a low mid hump or something funky in the low end.
The overdubbed/eerie guitar in the middle is kinda low in the mix, as mentioned before.

Through my speakers: O.O BIG difference. I agree the mix is a tad trebley. Do you have an earlier save of this mix? And have you boosted highs on it recently? I'd go back if at all possible and avoid boosting the highs and check the mix out at a lower volume.
Through these speakers the center guitar jumps out a LOT more and I loose some of the bass, though that could be due to them being mounted on my monitor. It's still got a pleasant punch to it, but not quite enough for my tastes.

That middle guitar is out of tune though.

The cymbal problem mentioned before might be the panning. It seems like they're panned hard right and hard left. If this is the case, bring them in just a tiiiny bit so as to keep the stereo field while reducing the drastic amount of separation.

By the way, I gotta add "Amateur Ears" to my sig so people know that I'm mostly an average listener so far lol!

I'd like to hear that with vocals since the whole thing will change a lot in terms of eq and placement...but yeah, I agree on the cymbals thing, they seem too bright and too wide.

the cymbals are literally the stock superior ones not panned within my DAW all standard NY kit in superior :/

needs vox.... can't really critique shit without them bro, sorry...

whole thing doesn't slam enough and sounds very.....homebrewed i guess?

stereo imaging is a tad weird as well.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

i say...... wipe the slate clean.... reamp the gtrs, THEN start your mix =D
