Oh, NICE. How sweet would it have been to see a swarm of bees chasing Patrick Roy off the ice? Or maybe Joe Sakic.
I miss hockey. I have tons of tapes from past games and playoffs, I suppose I'll amuse myself with those, while imagining bee attacks.

I was a season ticket holder and die hard Blackhawks fan until 1996.
The owner Bill Wirtz insisted upon giving away every star we had (Belfour, Roenick, Chelios, Amonte, etc..) while raising ticket prices every year, and refusing to air home games on TV.
I am now a 8 year season ticket holder for the Chicago Wolves who are the primary affiliate for the Atlanta Thrashers.
The Wolves have won 3 Championships in 11 years, and my season tix are over ONE THOUSAND dollars less than what I payed for the Slackhawks... oh, BTW, I sit on the aisle, center ice, 5 rows from the glass.
Fuck da NHL, hahahahahah!

I've only been to one NHL game in the last 2 years. Myself and three friends equaled nearly a 600 dollar night. At 105 a ticket for seats on the 4th row, parking, etc ...they're a bit big for their gloves, aren't they? Gotta pay for Belfour's alcohol tab.

I watch college hockey and not NHL so this whole no NHL season thing doesn't bother me. In fact the tournament starts tonite. Wisconsin vs. Michigan in the first round. Should be a good game.

I've got all 7 games of the 2001 Stanley Cup finals (which the Avalanche won) on tape. They were the final games of Ray Bourque's career, and he was my favorite player.

Good choice, Geoff; without Messier, because he'll retire for sure, don't expect the Rangers to sell out games for a time to come. Six days until the season opener!
