Thoughts about Cynic....

I heard this new band today, called cynic, they kick major ass. Does any one know why they only had one album and how they kick so much ass. Tell me anything you guys know aboot the band...... thanks

Cynic was on Roadrunner records um they only have 1 album called Focus but they have a few demos. Focus if from around 1993 i think. Sean Malone, Paul Masvidal, Sean Reinart others. Masvidal and Reinart were both on Deaths Human album. a few of the members have an album called Portal which is not metal. They rule. that's about it. Yeah. focus is a great album. you download the demo 91 online. highly recommnd it. i kinda like it's sound more than focus. some of the best musicians to ever play metal. sean malone (bassist) does gordian knot now. paul masvidal and sean reinhert played on death's human. but i'm just repeating shit so. that's it.

umm. cynic is not too new and they are great but the synthesized vocals through me off and I dislike them

I have Focus, and I like it. It has excellent guitarwork, but I find the clean harmonized vocals sound irritating at times.
