I saw Ted Nugent back in 1972. He opened for Black Sabbath. While Sabbath was excellent that night, and I respect Tony Iommi's guitar playing, Nugent blew them off the stage. Get Ted's debut release and worthy to explore, his work with the Amboy Dukes.

A couple friends of mine said they saw him back in the late 70's & that he put on an amazing show.

He's certainly over the top now, but I can't criticize a man for doing what he believes in. I've seen him on some debate shows & the guy is quite intelligent & very well spoken when he wants to be.

What matters is not his political views\if he hates Dimebag or anything like that, what matters is the great music that the guy made you bunch of retards.

^ I am with ARZ on this one. Papa's will was one of the first long slow jam songs I heard on record. The Amboy Dukes and all the way up to Cat Scratch Fever were OK. After that he was just rehashing. I've seen him live 8 or 9 times and this was all in the early 70's. Great guitar player and showman but his attitude nowadays is as extreme as the music he plays.

Ted Nugent got the cops called on me once! I was living in Germany and me and my friend were playing his Double Live Gonzo record real loud out the window. Well, Nuge drops a few F-bombs on that album and the guy across the street called the military police who went and got my dad out of a softball game to come home and take care of me.
