Thoughts on the Ronny Munroe show in Las Vegas

C-C-Cool Beans!!!
Now that we’ve made it home and cured our NYE hangovers, maybe we can get back to some normality!

The Ronny Munroe show in Las Vegas was great, and it was a blast playing live with Ronny. He is a class act, an honest and hilarious guy to hang out with, and above all… a very good friend. We rehearsed heavily for this gig for two straight months, busted our asses, and only had one real rehearsal with Ronny before we played this show, and with that being said, it went rather well. We want to personally thank Ronny for giving us this opportunity to get up on stage and jam some of his songs as well as some classic Metal Church tunes! I should also probably mention that he did a killer job singing some of the Katagory V material live! It’s funny, we were in Las Vegas less than 24 hours, and it was over before it began, it is true what they say, ‘time fly’s when your having fun’.

For those that have not heard any of Ronny’s solo material yet, you are doing yourself a disservice by not checking it out! Even though there is only a three song E.P. available that has some great songs on it, and few other unreleased rough tracks on his myspace page, there is a whole lot more where that came from. Ronny has let us hear some of the other material, as well as performing one of them live, and with what he’s allow us to hear so far that has not been released, it is sure to be one of the top metal albums of 2008. He may be known as the vocalist of Metal Church and former frontman of Rottweiler, but his solo material will show that he is also an accomplished songwriter as well as a versatile singer.
