I think i was probably the only one from the province of Quebec to be there too, haha, oh i feel special :hotjump:. God, i still can't believe i was there! Too bad i didn't know half the bands but whatever, lol , i got to see Alex Skolnick play some testament songs and that was like a lil dream come true for me.

too bad there wasn't more crowd shot though.....wish i could have seen myself in some of those pics, and then be like "holy shit, i'm right there, look!" lol
^ Couldn't agree more. All these Europeans have a lot of annual metal festivals going on especially in the summer like Wacken and Bang Your Head for example, which makes me jealous sometimes. So why can't North America have a big annual METALFEST?????? I'm all up for Thrash Of The Titans Festival to be held annually. !!!hiddenlegions said:

because of the significance of Thrash of the Titans it should never be repeated. A thrash metal festival once a year would be killer (it would give me a good excuse for another vacation!) but to use the same name would not be a good idea. Lets not forget WHY this show was held in the first place.

I agree with that Hunger. Maybe re-name it or sumthin. But definately have DE and company put it together. It would definately sell out and be a huge thing for thrash metal and metal in general. I think we're all jealous of seeing how killer all those European festivals are

We have a couple of annual metalfests in North America actually....Milwaukee Metalfest being one (hasn't been exceptional as of recent years) and the New England Metal and Hardcore festival, which kicks ass every year, tons of awesome bands....

I dunno why didnt the almighty Chuck hold this event every year! This was a really special event. Maybe there must be some financial support, i dont think it's too difficult to hold one. Chuck, plzzzzzz!!
