I'm interested to see how this affects their PP performance.

Maybe they have changed it since you read it, but it does say that a replacement will be named for the band's live shows.

Nick Midson is one of the founding members of THRESHOLD. He does not feature on the band's forthcoming album, "Dead Reckoning", and a replacement guitarist for the band's live shows will be announced later.

I would imagine that they wouldn't cancel PP since they were already committed to it but if they did, maybe someone just as great would take their spot.
