I know I was there, but I have forgotten... :)

How well was Threshold received at ProgPower?

That was my first one -- so besides not having heard of them, I hadn't begun purchasing CDs from each of the bands when the line up is announced to prepare for the show. :)

I am asking because since January (or so) I have been listening to them more and more. Now I own quite a few of their CDs (including a few of their direct-to-fan releases on their website)...

I was up front, and I remember everyone around me totally into it. It was a kick ass performance IMO, and I hope these guys get a chance to come back soon!

I was actually late arriving that day and missed their performance (My first PP as well)...

However, Mission Profile is one of the greatest prog-metal songs ever written. Just the right amount of prog to me (to some its probably not prog at all), amazing chorus, just an enjoyable 8 minutes.

I hope to see them play that live someday

I was there and they totally blew me away. I had never heard them before they played, because I didn't do research on them beforehand. Totally my loss... But I have to say, now I own most of their albums (including fan club releases). I became a Threshold fan for life that night. I remember Mac having a cold, but he still gave 100%!!!

Yeah, and if you want to check out some of the PP3 performance, pick up their Critical Energy DVD. It has 3 songs from PP3.

I really hope they return to Atlanta someday...

I watched two or three songs.
Honestly, I don't think I regret it. Maybe when they come back I'll give them more attention. Wasn't interested at the time though.

Oh you will regret it if they ever come back and you actually sit through their set. They are an incredible band live, but you and i both know, a concert experience is much better when you have a descent grasp of the bands material.

I think they should definitely be considered as a returning band to next year's lineup in a 4 slot for sure!!!

If you purchase the DVD Critcal Energy You might just see yourself:guh:

There have been a couple vids that Glenn put up where I could find myself in the crowd. I have some great shots from their set...... I'll have to view the vid again, and see.....
