Maybe a little late to the party, but I just picked up the Thunder and Lightning "In Charge of the Scythe" album. This is some really good power metal. Now I'm going to have to pick up this latest album of theirs because its obvious these dudes are serious.

Thunder & Lightning played at the Rock im Grünen festival in Berlin yesterday, which is a festival for up and coming bands. You can see them playing in the background in the report on the festival by a Berlin TV station below.

Watching the report I instantly fell in love with the news reporter covering the festival.

Thunder and Lightning has just been announced as the opening band for the Metal Hammer Awards of 2018. This will take place at the Kesselhaus in Berlin on Sept 14, 2018. Also playing is Night Demon and Dirkschneider.
