Thurisaz

Yeah, I like Circadian Rhythm. They kind of have this weird mix of Evergrey and Opeth going on, with blackened and death type growls mixed in. The atmosphere, guitar playing, and spoken word sampled parts remind me of Evergrey, and some of the other tunes have an Opeth feel. Thurisaz isn't in the class of either of those bands, but they have an interesting mix of sounds going on, and are quite talented in their own right. It's an interesting listen, and a probably top 15 or so for me this year.

Glad to hear more talk about Thurisaz on UM. *Fingers crossed* they start an official forum on here. Dont think Ive ever heard Evergrey's music but Ill be sure to check them out. Thurisaz music is pretty hard to describe. I always explain them as if Amorphis was a black metal band w/ prog influences then they would sound like Thurisaz. Definitely have an Opeth vibe too...which is never a bad thing.

Cant say enough about Circadian Rhythm and cant WAIT to see them live someday.
