Kill the street team topic, I'm in charge now, hahaha...

Belgian based Thurisaz is about the take over the rest of the world. They've just done a outstanding performance at the prestigious Graspop Metal Meeting and returned from some American dates with Novembers Doom. Earlier this year Thurisaz was part of a European tour with also Novembers Doom, Saturnus and Agalloch. This all to promote their second piece of art, entitled "Circadian Rhythm", out on Shiver Records April 2007.
~ Much recommended for fans of Agalloch, Empyrium, Opeth, Katatonia, Novembre, Novembers Doom or just atmospheric/progressive dark metal in general. (Northern Metal)

Outstanding Band.
Circadian Rhythm has been on constant play since I got it. In order to promote them a little further I joined the StreetTeam and will be passing out flyers at the upcoming Katatonia show at Pearl Room in Mokena, IL.

Hail Thurisaz!!!

How is November 2006 "earlier this year"? :p

I second the "Hail Thurisaz!" though. Sold another copy of "Circadian Rhythm" yesterday.

Oh, and I ordered Novembers Doom again, since I was all out of your albums. Just thought I'd mention that before you thought those Flemings were shamelessly invading your forum. ;)

The difference between Thurisaz and Turisas is noticed by people with good eyesight. :) The names are similar, like Opeth and Otep.

Well I haven't heard Thurisaz before, but it sounds promising. I like the folk edge of Turisas though. I tend to like stuff others don't. :(

Don't worry (as if you would), you're not alone. Maybe there are less people who say they do like Turisas than there are people who say they don't. Still metal with a folk edge has a pretty big fanbase. Can't say I dislike it, myself.

There's some new merchandise available: from now on the Thurisaz
Car-stickers are available at our gigs.

Soon a new website will be launched with lot's of multimedia and new
stuff!!! More info soon!

Currently we are busy playing gigs and writing new material. If all goes
well, Thurisaz will hit the studio again in the second half of 2008!
Old news: We started up the 'street teams'. Street teams are volunteers
that are willing to hand out flyers, hang up thurisaz-posters on concerts,
in shops, bars, making promo on metalforums and so on... to promote
'Circadian Rhythm' as good as we can. If you're interested in doing so,
please send your details (email, address, name) to streetteam@thurisaz.be.
We'll send you some promostuff, together with some free merch for
yourself!
That's all for now! Hope to see you very soon on one of our gigs!!!

Greetings,
The Thurisaz-crew

I'm resurrecting this thread because I just got around to finally getting Circadian Rhythms...my GOD, what a great album!!! :OMG: This is really top-notch stuff. The varied vocal styles are really working for them, big time! I can't say enough good things about this album. :worship:
