I just stumbled upon this today. Has anyone heard about this that can also confirm the legitimacy of the information at:

http://www.ticketfeelitigation.com/

I thought I'd post the link rather than the write-up that can be found on the site. Apparently it's a class action suit brought about because of: A) Ticketmaster's order processing fee is allegedly deceptive and B) the UPS Delivery option is allegedly deceptive.

The Court has set the case for non-jury trial beginning January 26, 2011.

Since most, if not all of us, loathe Ticketmaster I thought I'd share this. If this information at the site above is not legit please let me know.

I dont know about this one, but I do know that actions have been taken before against Ticketbastard because of their fees (dont know if they ever went to court), but some how ticketmaster has always won.

It's legit. I just got an e-mail on it today. I looked up the case history and they just got class certification in late August/early Sept, so I suspect everyone who has purchased through ticketmaster.com will be getting e-mail on it soon.

SWEET! With the hundreds of dollars I spend on tickets each year, I should get a check for at least $0.29 or so

Yep, Ticketmaster will agree to the settlement while not admitting fault.
We customers will get a check for a couple o' bucks -- $5 or $10 tops -- if we elect to become part of the class.
The trial lawyers will each rake in $5-10 million.

In short, the usual farce of a 'class action suit.'
