TIMS playing with LAUREN HARRIS!

There were 2 of them. :OMG: Steve and Bruce were there in the balcony and they stayed for the entire show! :worship:They were watching and smiling. Steve was in the dressing room most of the time prior to the show cuz we shared the upstairs backstage area with Lauren and her band. We didn't want to bother him so we didn't approach him at all, but it was so exciting just knowing he was there. Lauren and her entire band are the most awesome and fun people and had a great show that night. Lauren has such a vibrant youthful bubbliness in person. She is a sweetheart. Anywho, after our show we went to the backstage area to dry off before going to the meet n greet and Steve and Lauren's band walk by. Steve stopped and said we were "fantastic!!!!". :) He came back in a moment later and spoke to all of us for some length of time just saying the kindest words of the show and our playing. We all almost died. He was so genuine and seemed to have a twinkle in his eyes. He said he has seen other tributes that are very good and it is always a little wierd to watch other people playing "you", but this was even wierder! LOLOL!! We were all honored to have a moment of his time.
Mark and Aja have pics so we will have to wait for a post of this! Bruce was sitting with Steve for the entire show as well. Amazing. Rod Smallwood and Steve invited us to the pub where the entire band was hanging out afterwards but by the time we were all packed up it was so late and everybody had gone home except Janick so we got to say hello to him.

Damn. o_O

WOW! Were Aja and Wanda sweating bullets knowing Steve and Bruce were out there?

No tougher critics than the originals is there? You got props from 'Arry himself so there is no higher praise to be found in Maidendom. :headbang::headbang:

Good on y'all ladies.

So did Steve and Bruce react at all to the beginning of Alexander?

It was great to go back to Mexico City. Maiden is so strong there! The audience was incredible!

Lauren Harris is such a down to earth person - really great energy, as was her whole band. All really nice people. She had a very successful show - the audience liked her a lot.

I did see Steve - he's kind of hard to miss - and thought that was Bruce but wasn't 100% sure until after the show. Honestly? I tried not to think too hard about it cuz I was kinda busy trying to breathe as I was running around the stage! The altitude was over 7,000 ft. for f**k's sake! It was insane! But they seemed to enjoy our version of them. :)

Steve was so genuine! He told me it was nice to see his crew having so much fun to their music for once - they're so busy working during the real show they have to be all business.

But the thing that impressed me the most about him? He's such a great dad! He was one proud papa that night! :headbang:

I am working on the pic - the light was a little funny for my camera... :erk: I swear I'm not being a tease! :saint:

It was a bloody great show, as always the Iron Maiden´s know how to give us a great experience, i took cheap pictures with my cellphone, there were some problems with the guitar, but besides that the only problem was that the show didn´t last 4 hours hahaha it was great to hear you girls again, you girls are in a great "Musical Shape", it seems you grils can rock as hard as almost nobody, i found rude the fact that during the Lauren Harris Show everyone would be watching at Steve Harris, i mean ok it´s Steve Harris, but there is no need to be rude, Aja you controlled us as your ... slaves, Sara´s solos were just perfect, the bass sounded amazing the armonizations were simply awesome, and the girl behind the drums just FUCKING GREAT!!, i was not able to drop by and say hi cause we didn´t have enough cash to get back to our homes so we decided to go as soon as we could so the Taxi maybe would be cheaper, Lauren Harris rocked out, even Steve Harris was at the show and also this guy from "Heavy Metal: A headbangers journey", that guy was there, and there was also a fucking big limo outside the little Hard Rock, it was surreal also i just came back from the IRON MAIDEN show it was AMAZING!!!! Unbealivable, Rime of the Ancient Mariner followed by Powerslave, an encore includding Moonchild, hallowed be thy name and the clairvoyant (not in that order).

I waited almost 2 years until you girls came back to México, i didn´t got the chance to say hi, i want to apologize, anyway it was a great show i thought you girls would stay to see the Iron Maiden show, get a warm hugh from Yoshiki.

ty yosmark for the kind words :headbang: it was great to be back! we got dicked on backline but the energy of the evening had it's own plans. what an awesome turnout - everyone was stoked to be there. me and heather went outside to check out the bootlegs of our shirts hahahh and took lots of pics and signed tickets of people waiting in line. there are many genuine metal hearts in mexico city - it made me smile :) the way the crowd sang along and chanted 'arry to the balcony - very fucking cool \m/ did you hear me yell fuck yeah?!!!!! fuck!!!!! glad you had a great time at the show the next night - here's to iron maiden :kickass:

and here's one with someone who needs no introduction...... what a nice man he is. :kickass:

Wanda looks a little shocked, doesn't she? Hee hee!
And, yes, that's a bottle of tequila.....don't touch!! :p :loco: :puke:

Wanda looks a little shocked, doesn't she? Hee hee!

If so, it's the spaced out kind of shocked that says, "Whooooaaa, this is trippy posing for a picture with my clone host":loco::loco:
Aja looks genuinely joyous.
Heather looks like she tring to be all serious and professional.
You actually appear at that particular angle to be kinda tense, like that smile aint coming as easy to you as it usually does (although knowing you I do think it was genuine, just a photo illusion).
And Sara has this devilshly sly grin that says "Guess what I was doin' last night! Heh Heh!"

I am thrilled for y'all. I'm glad you had such an awesome time. Wish I was there.:headbang::headbang::headbang:
