Tips needed on this mix. Instrumental Death Metal w/ BM elements

SSD for drums.
Lepou LeGion with s-preshigh impulse lightly blended with a Recabinet Excel 121 impulse. Double-tracked w/ Schecter Omen, GFS Crunchy Rails in the bridge.

LeXTAC for the one lead riff in the middle and the very end.
LeXTAC with Ampeg and catharsis impulses for Bass.

I checked it in several sources, and it seems muffled to me, but on my AKG 240 headphones it is just right.

I appreciate any feedback.

the guitars lack almost all body, what do you use for interface/di? I would imagine its more cause the DI but take that like a grain of salt

Yeah, I've noticed. Would like to improve on that. I'm actually just going DI into my Mbox.

Not sure if it's my DI situation that is lacking (going into the MBox) or the pickups or my mixing/guitar tone shaping -- or perhaps a combination of all the above.
